Company Profile
Our parent company GIPL( Gangadhar Infotech Private Limited) is an Information Technology software company established in year 2002 by Shri Ashish Fadnavis.
After four years of our successful inception, we ventured out into the field of Animation under Shri Binoy Shankar in the year 2006 and Toonone Animation Studio was established.
The main purpose of our diversion was to cater to the need of evergrowing demand for original Animation content production for the domestic and international markets.
To solve the paucity of skilled animators in this region we started animation training on our premises in the year 2007.
Inspired by our success in animation training we added Graphic design, Video editing, and VFX courses to our training schedule.
We feel proud to announce that we are the only animation studio in the city of Nagpur to produce animation series on premium national-level broadcasting channels like Sony, Pogo, and Discovery Kids.
Since our inception, we have produced three animation feature films ‘ABHIMANYU (105min)’, LAXMIBAI OF JHANSI’ (45min) and ‘SHAKUNTALA'(50min). All three films were made in home video format and released in the domestic market.
Apart from these three films we have produced numerous advertisements and media services to esteem clients like VICCO Laboratories, Plast0 Tanks, Hadriam’s, Reliance Power, Mahindra & Mahindra, IndoEduNext, VNIIT, and Jayka Group of companies.
Right now, we are working on our ambitious animated feature film project ‘BHOOT MAHAL’, a horror adventure theme-based story of three young adventure-seeking Betech students.
Currently, we are working on a pilot episode of the First Japanese-style Anima series ‘Night of Time’ in India, produced specially for OTT Platform.
Ashish Fadnavis(CMD)
The company was founded and headed by Ashish Fadanvis sir, who plans & controls the daily business operations. Also directs the development and execution of the company’s global growth strategy and initiatives.
With a strong technology management and consulting background, he is a blend of more than 15 years of experience working at corporates as well as entrepreneurial firms.
Leading a team of tenured Software developers, Ashish sir oversees all GIPL business and functional disciplines including marketing, sales, and Business Development.
Qualified with a certified CDAC Professional Training Program & IT Consulting Practice, sir holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Statistics and Electronics from the reputed Institute of Science, Nagpur University.
Binoy Shankar(CEO)
Eminent Animation Filmmaker, educator, and one of the founders of Toonone Animation Studio.
He has over twenty years of experience in the field of Animation and Graphic Art.
He was instrumental in producing three feature-length animation films Abhimanyu, Shakuntala, and Laxmibai at Toonone.
His most ambitious project adventure-based feature film Bhoot Mahal is at the final stage of completion. He has also taken the lead in producing India’s first Japanese-style web series ‘Night of Time’, pilot episode is taking shape under his able direction.
A science graduate with an MBA degree in Marketing, holds two professional PG Diplomas in Marketing in Advertising and International Trade from Bhavans College of Management. A bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication and a Professional Diploma in animation from Zee Telefilms Mumbai.
Apart from above mention projects he has experience as an animation director on various domestic and international animation projects of high esteem that include popular series like Keymon Ache, Little Singham, Jhool_Maal, Tennali Rama, and Kung Fu Millionaire.
Apart from production, he has vast experience in teaching in the fields of Animation, Graphic Design, Video Editing, and VFX.
He is among the few most experienced educators in this region who can develop and successfully implement the production-based curriculum. Recently he has designed a curriculum for RTM-Nagpur University for Animation and Graphic design courses for them. He is also among very few experts in India to teach Classical Animation.
